Why this works: 72V ASI BAC BBSHD

72v systems, especially on the BBSHD work much better in general for speed as the increased RPM allows the use of lower gearing (big rear cogs) reducing strain as the motor power take off, and any internal gear reduction (Nylon Gear). You can achieve the same top speeds using much bigger rear cogs with less strain. My 29er (2.5” tyres) with 42T front, 28T rear hits 45 mph with my 125 KG 270lb weight. This bike has now ran almost 1000 miles on the same Nylon gear. Think of your legs. Is it easier to pull away in a big rear cog or a small rear cog? Same forces for the motor!
A single big rear gear has the ability to pull from standstill and due to high volts and field weakening hit high rpm giving a high top speed.
This gear ability removes the need for multi gear which compromise chain line. With a perfect chain line with this system, wear is drastically reduced and forces shared equally on chains etc.
To gain higher watts, the maths speak for them selves. 52v @ 40A = 2080W now 72v x 40A = 2880 watts.
Amps create heat!
